1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book plumbing or heating work with Demo Plumbing Ltd. They are a demo set of terms for a fictional local business. They do not form a real legal contract between you and any actual plumbing company.
2. Quotes and estimates
We provide fixed-price quotes for clearly described work. Estimates are provided where the full scope cannot be confirmed until inspection. Any additional work required will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
3. No call-out fee
We do not charge a call-out fee. If you decide not to proceed after receiving a quote, you only pay for the work that has already been completed with your agreement.
4. Cancellations
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time. Late cancellations may incur a charge for the engineer's scheduled time.
5. Guarantees
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Manufacturer warranties on boilers, parts and fittings apply in addition and are passed on to you in writing.
6. Payments
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, debit card and cash. Commercial invoices are payable within 14 days.
